What is #TheConfessionsProject?
#TheConfessionsProject is a movement to help believers declare God’s promises over their lives. We live in a generation where insecurity, doubt, and fear run wild. To counteract this attack, let’s breathe life and faith into ourselves because we are children of the King.
When we put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), our only offensive weapon is the sword of the Spirit, which is His Word. However, faith without works is dead (James 2:26). Speaking God’s truth or writing it out helps activate our faith. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, we overcome the assaults used to defeat us with our speech for life and death lies in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
It is time that we start believing in His promises. We have the power and weapons in our arsenal to fight life’s challenges. As a dear friend once said, “Rise up! We are set apart for purpose and for His mission. Hear the holy roar come down from Heaven!”
How can you get involved?
1. Pray and Declare!
Prayer is our primary ministry. Pray that you would start believing God’s promises, then start to declare the things He says in His word. I am a firm believer in speaking daily confessions out-loud. If you don’t believe me, read how daily confessions changed my life, and find practical ways to write your own. They are powerful. Praying and speaking God’s word brings results and answers because God Himself said that His Word would not return empty to Him.
2. Read and Share.
Submit your confession blog post to the newest category on Transparency Blog! Find the submission form here. If not, read what other believers are declaring over their lives.
Use the hashtag on Instagram. Help change the culture of our generation by deciding to stand in faith. Inspire others, and make God’s Word known!
Start your week off right by signing up to receive a weekly confession and devotion every Monday! You’ll also receive a confession in the form of an iPhone Wallpaper each month so you can be reminded of God’s truth every time you tap your phone. It is my prayer that you will feel lifted in prayer and encouraged in your faith because this is exactly what community should feel like.
