I am so excited to have these women on the Transparency Blog team! They truly reflect the Transparency Blog brand, in which they are passionate about sharing the love of Christ through their words and talents.
They are by no means perfect, but they are willing to be open and honest aka transparent about their lack in order to reveal God’s amazing grace. Simply because they are confident in knowing Who the source of their strength is.
If you’re interested in being a writer or using your talents to build Transparency blog, send a cover letter expressing your interest along with 3 samples from your portfolio to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Jemeia Kollie, Writer
Jemeia is passionate about Jesus, social justice, health and wellness, self-care, and self-love. She started writing because she’s a firm believer that the Gospel can speak to any situation we face in life. Her heart is to be vulnerable and share what she’s battling in hopes of assuring women that they are not alone. Even though she’s a huge introvert, she says that she can eat for about three people and loves discovering new music! But most time, you can find her binge-watching a series on Netflix or Hulu.
Topics of interest: Biblical perspectives on singleness, health and wellness, self-care/self-love, abiding in Jesus, fighting habitual sin, global and domestic social justice issues
Danielle Sarbo, Writer
Danielle is a recent Liberty University grad where she studied Religion and Leadership in her master’s program. She is passionate about teaching and equipping the Body of Christ. In her words, “Our Savior went to the greatest length to save us from our sins, and now we have the honor of knowing Him deeply and proclaiming His transformative power to the world. It’s time for our generation to rise up and speak out, but it all starts with an authentic relationship with Christ and a hunger for His truth.” Her ultimate prayer is that every post will strengthen you in your faith, empower you with boldness, and energize you with passion to influence and shift culture with the gospel of Jesus Christ. When she is not reading or writing, you will find her preparing for her next weekend get-away or coffeeshop hopping around her hometown.
